Le Morne beach is a beautiful beach with miles of white sand with large casuarina trees surrounded by a crystal clear water offering great visibility ideal for scuba diving and Le Morne mountain as a backdrop A beautiful setting known as the best kite surfing spot of Mauritius, some go further and say that Le Morne is one of the best spot in the world.
Le Morne beach is particularly popular with windsurfers and kite surfers, conditions are perfect for practicing these sports almost all year. Many competitions are held annually regrouping international participant like the Kiteival.
Le Morne beach remains a nice place for swimming but can be crowded on weekends and holidays.
The nudist is prohibited, but topless sunbathing is accepted. The best time to visit the beach of Le Morne is early in the morning from 8:00 to 11:00 or in the afternoon from 13:00 to 17:00.
